I am so glad that this was my first glamping experience! Interactions with the owners went smoothly, they communicate very well via email and text, be sure to read your emails!! The view was beautiful, the pod itself was perfect. We stayed in the “rock” pod so it had its own outdoor fireplace, which we really enjoyed. Its location makes it an easy walk to lots of restaurants. Would recommend, and I hope to go again if I’m ever in Tofino!

The most unique and aesthetically pleasing accommodation we stayed in during our travels around Canada. We stayed in the Rock Pod and found the place to be clean, comfortable and spacious. The view was stunning and we enjoyed the use of the fire pit while overlooking the water. Ashleigh and Pete were responsive and informative during our stay. The location of the pods is very convenient and walking distance to food and drinks.
A must-do!

We loved our stay at the wave pod! We will be back! We seen dolphins in the ocean and it was amazing waking up to this view every day. Walking distance to Tofino restaurants and there is a delicious pie and coffee place close.

The pod itself was warm and cozy. Clean and a comfy bed. I love the extra touches and the coffee cream in the mini fridge was s thoughtful! Loved that.

They definitely support local as there was rhino coffee beans and the shampoo and conditioner was also made in Tofino.

The owners had clear friendly instructions and everything went smooth.

Thank you!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday this past weekend and it was such an amazing unique experience. You can tell the thought the owners have put in to even the small details that make the pod wonderful. We had everything we needed and the check in and checkout process was effortless. I work in the hotel industry and it’s so nice to be able to stay somewhere with a different vibe than the normal hotel experience. I loved everything about this, and even with pods surrounding you they are perfectly laid out for privacy, everything was perfect! Thank you so much for having us and I hope to visit again!

Hands down one of the best stays of our honeymoon. Stunning location right on the waterfront, super comfortable and cosy atmosphere inside the pod with gas fires, and heaters, and nice heavy blankets on the bed.
Just wish we had more time to spend there!!

If you’re staying in Tofino, I highly recommend this spot.

We stayed in the Rock unit which is the most expensive unit but also the nicest setting. It is on the quieter end next to the woods, so abit more private. Also it has an outstanding view of the water (some of the other units face the marina more than the open water) I also like that this unit has its own outdoor fire pit, I am not sure if the other units do. We stayed off season when rates were lower and we were blessed with sunshine everyday even though it was February. This is pure luck as in this area it can sometimes rain for days straight this time of year. With the blue skies we really enjoyed the view and the fire pit. We found it easy to stay warm enough as there is a propane fireplace, and 3 rotating tower space heaters inside. The only issue is if you use the space heater near the kitchen at the same time as the microwave and or kettle you might pop a breaker. So best to unplug that space heater while using kitchen to be safe. Having said that the hosts were quick to respond and help with any issues or questions as they arose. For instance we wanted to sit outside on the wooden chairs to enjoy our fire pit, but they were damp. There were no chair pads provided and I didnt want to get the nice linens or pillows wet..so we messaged the hosts and their cleaning lady dropped off some old towels for us. This was all we needed. It would have been nice to have a small folding table to take outside to the fire pit. There are wide arm rests on the Adirondack chairs but we wanted to play a board game outside so we couldn’t do that without a small table. But that is a minor issue. I suppose we could have sent a request but it wasn’t that important to us. My only concern is that the pods are not at all sound proof so you will hear the other guests right next door. The first night we had a very very noisy couple next door..they were having so much fun and laughing a long while but they did quieten down by 10pm. It was more just abit annoying. Had it continued past ten we would have contacted the hosts to have it dealt with, but thankfully it did not and after that all was fine. I think perhaps guests could be reminded that the pods are not sound proof and out of respect to other guests to please try to keep your voices down a little. I am not sure if the other guests are really aware just how clearly we could hear them. I am a little concerned these pods might be too hot in the summer without air conditioning. The only opening is the door ..and a couple small vents on the ceiling..so I cant really imagine that it would be cool enough for my preference in the summer, but we are all different. For off season it was fine and not hard to keep warm. A nice thick grey blanket is provided that we were able to use outside by the fire but if there were two blankets one for each of us that would be nice. The bed linens, towels, soaps, were all good. There was no dish soap while we stayed but we managed and didnt bother asking for any as it wasn’t that important we just used some of the body soap from the dispenser in the shower to wash dishes. The coffee provided is great and a small amount of cream. There is a toaster and small microwave and bar fridge. We felt perhaps a small love seat and coffee table would have been nicer than a kitchen table and two chairs but to each their own. We often sat up in bed as it was more comfortable than the two dining chairs…so a small love seat would be our preference but again not a big deal. Overall a great place to stay and I will recommend to friends and have already. We also like that it is gated with a code and secure for parking. By the way you can easily walk to the Savary Island Pie Company and it has delicious treats.

Very memorable place to stay. Directly in Tofino close to dining and shops.
I’m 6’4” and the showers are VERY, VERY small so that was interesting.
Reminder that you’re in a tent so you will hear everything from the other tents and they will hear you so be prepared for that.
Overall a very nice stay.

We stayed in the Wave pod as part of our honeymoon. The view was amazing, absolutely beautiful and it was such an experience to wake up to!

Unfortunately the floor was a bit dirty - we made sure to take off our shoes as soon as we came into the pod and while the floor looked clean, my socks said otherwise which was a shame. We also had noisy neighbours, though we texted the owners about this at ~11.30pm and they were quick to respond and speak to the neighbours, who soon quietened down.

Overall though, I think it was a great stay and it’s definitely provided us with some wonderful memories during such a happy time!
