The hotel was wonderful for the ten nights I stayed and the host was super friendly.. unfortunately that’s about it. You had to put your deposit through cash app and when I tried to receive the deposit back from the owner I was ghosted (possibly blocked as the messages won’t deliver now) by the owner and was declined my deposit back… all I would receive as a response that “He’s still looking into it” even though its been over a month since my stay there! I’m unsure why the owner must hold on to a measly 50$ but I just wanted to let other people know of this issue before booking!

Absolute WORST experience of my life and I have had my hotel room broken into in the past. It was absolutely freezing and I was told the owner was too cheap to turn on the heater. Not only that but I was double charged, and when I was trying to get my money back the owner ghosted me after making false claims that he was "looking into it". It has now been over a month and I have not seen any of it back. Saying "I've been trying to help but now you get no help" after I called him a terrible person and a scammer, then proceeded to cuss me out and say "I'm getting a 3 thousand dollar building built so take it deep." Absolutely vile person and I don't wish an experience like this even on my worst enemy, but I do hope that one day the owner has this happen to him and he will know how it feels. Might post screenshots of the conversation if he keeps berating me.

Cool experience. Hostel with a futuristic feel and bed pods in a couple newly remodeled converted residential homes. Street parking only so budget 5-10 minutes to find some. Best for solo travelers as price for two was comparable to a hotel. I had a super amazing sleep in the pod, I should totally install one of these in my bedroom. I am 6'3" and I barely fit diagonally, barely. I usually feel claustrophobic but didn't it all. There is a TV, fan, adjustable lights, USB charging and a tray in the pod. I would definitely stay here again.

This pod hotel is a great value! The pods take some getting used to, but they are nice for having more privacy than you would at a regular hostel. The location is convenient to take buses or rideshares to downtown LA and USC. What really made this place stand out was the exceptional service by Kevin, one of the hosts of the hotel! He is a very friendly and hard-working guy who elevated the level of my stay!

This place checked a lot of boxes for me. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, staff (Kevin and Chris) were friendly, and it's close to bus stops, and the metro was just an 11-minute walk. Plus, it's a pretty unique experience staying in a pod with this kind of ambiance.

As always, I’ll try to keep it short as much as possible first, when you get there, you’re welcomed by this nice gentleman who will show you around where is what like kitchen patio / patios, the movie area, which is one of the coolest I’v seen small scale for like 12 people indoors patio For smokers and none smokers Which was great then you will be taken to your designated sleeping area which is 24 seven quiet zone again, if I’m not mistaken, which should be like that everywhere my opinion because there’s lots of other areas at least in this place to do your business or to relax and chat etc NOW the sleeping bunker/ area / where you sleep that’s private and only yours ? is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time I will try to post some pictures ! So if you’re looking for a place that’s clean comfortable with good customer service safe private affordable to sleep this is the place you cannot go wrong ! Thank you to the management and the owners for letting me stay there it was a pleasure .

Super clean. Friendly staff. Area is ok but Los Angeles is not the safest at night but property is like fort nox lol. I actually extended my stay for an extra night cause I loved my pod. Thanks pod life

This place is honestly immaculate! Kevin is amazing and cares about his guests and the time they have. They have rules with all guests best interests in mind. The pods are private, safe and secure. This place provides everything you need for a home base on a trip that is affordable. Highly recommend to everyone if you're staying in LA to check these out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
