We first heard of Garage Pod early last year from parents of our daughter's friends. Many of her closest friends attend and we heard only positive things about it. Our daughter attended the Wicker Creek Ensemble last year on weekends, which she enjoyed and we think it helped build her confidence.
This year, she attends the after school program and she loves it so much, that she doesn't want to leave. She has been enjoying the various enrichment programs that they offer, such as dance and yoga, play time, a healthy snack, and she also does most of her homework there. We are so grateful that she takes part of this program.

The addition of Garage Pod has been one of the BEST things to happen to Dobbs Ferry in the last 3 years! They are truly first rate in their programming, creativity and care of our town's children. My daughter looks forward to the variety of activities each week and she adores the staff. Highly recommend this center!

Garage Pod has been the most incredible after school (and sometimes weekend) program for our son. We’re so lucky to be part of the GP family. Sam, Paula and all the teachers have created such a supportive, inspiring community for our children. They foster creativity, kindness, responsibility and compassion while challenging and delighting the kids at the same time. So much thought and care is put into every aspect of the program, from the activities (the options are endless and the space has something for everyone) to the approach to discussing real world issues and feelings. Plus there are enrichment opportunities - our kids really enjoyed Mary’s weekend music class last spring. We can’t say enough good things about GP!

My child is going into their 3rd year at GaragePod. Highly recommend! My 7 year old has absolutely flourished socially and has benefitted so much from the sensory play that GaragePod encourages. This is such a lovely, welcoming place for afterschool activities. Sam does a wonderful job making sure that every child feels safe, included and accepted. Whenever I arrive for pick up my child asks if they can stay longer - the best indicator of a great program!

Garage Pod is an incredible asset to Dobbs Ferry. They provide a safe, inclusive, educational and FUN environment for kids. They are always adding new programming that keeps the kids engaged on weekdays and even weekends. Garage Pod is absolutely wonderful. I'm not sure I can express how glad I am to have found them—they are a child-led after school program that encourages kids to explore, grow, and develop across music, arts, science, and more.
