I’ve been sleeping on the Eight Sleep pad for about 6 months, but before getting my Eight Sleep pad I used a different company’s mattress cooling pad for about 4 years. The Eight device is FAR superior, and has made a positive difference in my sleep. Here’s why I like it and feel it the superior device:
1. The mattress pad is thick and comfortable - I can’t feel the water tubes that run through it at all. 2. The heating and cooling is somehow gentler - when cooling, it cools gently and likewise when heating - I can’t feel the temperature changing but it changes gradually and it feels very nice - also the “autopilot” continues to learn and make changes as my sleep changes (for the better!) both during the night and over weeks and months.
3. I love the app, which shows me how well I slept including light, deep, and REM phases, as well as a variety of interesting metrics including Heart and Breath rate and Heart Rate Variability. It also allows easy comparison of these metrics over time.
4. My original pad had a bad sensor and I called customer support about it. Within a couple of minutes on the phone, the customer service rep told me they would send a replacement, which they did. I received the replacement quickly and it works perfectly. I had another issue and had similarly prompt, attentive, and dare I say, caring customer service.

All in all, I believe the EightSleep to be a brilliant system, backed by an excellent warranty and superb customer service. What’s not to love?

This is a game changer for me. I tried bed fan and bed jet to stay comfortable at night but always overheated or body was hot feet cold etc. this device is incredible tech and when you think good sleep equals health it’s a must. Get a cheaper car was my thought.

My wife and I absolutely love our Eight Sleep pad. Her body temp always runs quite cold, and I run awfully hot, so managing our bedroom temperature has always been a challenge. Not with Eight Sleep, they are literally the best investment we have made for our sleep quality. It's been amazing. Yes, for time to time (twice in past 2 years) we have had issues, and the support team were all over it. The first time, after a brief diagnostic verification, they sent us a brand no upgraded pad and the second time, it was user issues which they walked me through and followed up a half a dozen times to make sure everything was ok. LOVE THEM and wish other companies that a page out of their quality product and service playbook

Pod cover broke and leaked after a year or 2 (not by us, it just happened in the middle of the night), caused water damage on bed + bed frame and they wanted to charge ~$1000 CAD to replace the part. Wouldn't even offer a discount.

Over the past 5 years EightSleeps customers service has dramatically declined. I recently ordered a new $5000 upgrade, it took about a month to get to me, this past week it sat idle within 50 miles of our house and then when it was delivered today, they left the packages by the street next to our garbage cans.

After 2 years and being down to our last payment, our pad sprung a leak. We thought for sure it was no longer covered. After reaching out to customer support, sent in a few photos, we found out that it was due to a possible clog. Sleep 8 sent out a new pad and upgraded us to the newer version. We were very happy. We recieved the pad but no hub. We then reached back out to customer service and was advised to wait a couple of days to see if there may have been a delay in shipping. After waiting still no hub, I reached out one more time. Seems that there was a miscommunication and a hub was not sent out but now, one was on its way. The customer service with Sleep 8 has been exceptional. They have went above and beyond to make us happy. Even though the pad may seem pricey, it is well worth it when you start having night sweats and trouble sleeping. I would recommend this company to anyone, which we usually due, that is looking for the cooling/heating factor. Thank you Sleep 8. Love your product and customer service.

I have been an Eight Sleep customer since 2019 when they first started and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The Pod 1 had its kinks and the customer service was outstanding. I am onto a later generation of Pod and it keeps getting better and better. The sleep I get is amazing and I could not live without the technology. Being a former collegiate athlete, the bed helped me get a small edge over the competition and made sure I had the best sleep and recovery. As for the customer service, it has been the best I have ever seen from a company. They are extremely responsive and really work to make things right. 10/10 in my book and I will continue to purchase Eight Sleep products and refer the company to everyone I meet.

I purchased the eight sleep and due to a technical glitch i purchased a membership that was not required and later cancelled under the instructions of their customer service. I returned the sleep pod within the 30 days due to the product not performing as expected, yes, i got sucked into the hype and endorsements. They refunded the mattress but refuse to refund me the $200 - $300 membership claiming it was my error. So now i have a cancelled membership to a product i don't own. Anyway, my eight sleep pod review 2024 2025 is save your money. Do not buy it. My sleep did not improve and actually got worst. The app is basic and useless. For the money you pay you would expect way more smart features and more automation. Overall i was disappointed with my eightsleep pod and really annoyed with the customer service this company provides. This is my review for the eight sleep pod Australia
