I went to this place several years ago - I paid out nearly $300 out of my own pocket after insurance - I paid on 3 separate occasions.

I only went twice, and then several MONTHS later, I started receiving text messages that I owe another $100 for some reason?

This is ridiculous - I even have printed bank statements showing I paid all three times I was asked to pay.

I spoke with a phone operator about the issue a year ago, and when I told her this, she said she would "call me back" and check the records. I never got ANY communication back after this. Only after a month or two after this I started getting the texts again.

I filed multiple support tickets and got NO ANSWER. This place is a scam. I can't believe you have the gall to ignore a client who paid out so much already for a mild WART on my foot and ask for even more money. I never had to get another follow-up, nor more prescriptions or anything - so I genuinely have no idea why I'm being asked to pay yet again.

I tried calling again today, waited on the line, and then got hung up on. This is inexcusable, and while I'm not the kind of person to normally complain and write negative reviews, I genuinely don't know what else to do in order to get something done.

Terrible customer service and way over priced. Stay away from here at all costs.

I saw Dr. Aung for foot problems in April 2024. We discussed my care and had x-rays done and was told I need foot surgery. She sold me an expensive product unrelated to the reason for my visit with her and suggested another $800 product (special shoes) which she said I would need to wear after my surgery and for always, which I passed on. I felt that her main focus was to sell me expensive products. After the consultation, I waited weeks for a call back about a surgery date and since I didn't hear back I started calling her office several times but the phone was never answered and I left voice mails that were not returned nor did I receive any mail from her. Now, three months later, I am having my foot problems addressed by another podiatrist. I would not recommend Aung to anyone who needs care due to lack of attention and unprofessionalism!

This place is horrible. Came in for my first visit for an issue I have had for a month. I was greeted by the Doctor working front desk. All of her other employees quit and she is running the office alone. I don’t think she knows what she is doing. She told me she couldn’t do anything with my insurance so I had to be self pay. Even thought I was told my insurace was covered there by the robot that answered the phone and scheduled. Told me my appointment would be hundreds of dollars without even looking at my issue. It raised some red flags but I continued the visit. She brought me to the back and looked at my toe. She never told me what she was going to do and wheeled in surgical equipment and a consent form and never told me what was going on. I had been seeing my primary care physician in the mean time for this issue and I tried to explain to her what we had been doing to treat it and I tried to show her pictures over the last month. She told me “I don’t care what has happened before or what your toe has looked like, do you want to be seen here today or not” also mentioning every 5 seconds she only had 30 minutes for my appointment due to being short staffed. I was there for 10 minutes and she barely looked at my toe. I told her I was uncomfortable and I wanted to leave and she agreed I should go. She also let me know my issue will become “lethal” if I don’t treat it soon which is not the case after being seen at the er. That was told to me to scare me/ get more money out of me. She then proceeds to tell me I will still be charged for the office visit today for $180…this woman is money hungry and does not care at all about the well being of people/ patients. This is the worst interaction I have ever had with a physician in my life. I left crying. No wonder all the staff has left. Highly recommend not going to this office. It was a traumatic experience. She is a condescending, horrible woman. Do your due diligence before ever scheduling here.

Saw Doctor for the first time for a consultation of my foot problem. Scheduled second appointment for two weeks later to address foot problem. I was taken to exam room by the very friendly receptionist/ assistant. Doctor came in and told me everything she was going to do, before I knew it she was done. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Doctor and her staff are great people not only in the amount of experience they have but also from making you feel comfortable while at their office.

I've had a credit of $40 for overpayment for over 1 yr. I've been asking for it and yet to receive. I was told 07/24/24 that a check would be sent to me. This is 08/15 and still haven't received.

I’m disappointed in this office. Dr came highly recommended. From first visit my husband and i have nothing but a difficult time with office staff. There was an issue insurance in which office refused to see patient until it was fixed. When insurance issues were fixed, calling office to clear up issues and make payments, the staff gave Tun around for several days before my husband could finally get a hold of someone. No Dr is worth awful office staff.

Don’t go there!!!! I just got a bill (September 2021) with charges from March 2021 stating they are going to send me to collections. I was never notified I had a balance due. Besides that, the insoles that were “made” for me did not help and I went into office for adjustment thinking it would be free (not notified otherwise) and on this bill there is a $75 adjustment fee…! Wow, way to stand by your work Aung! I tried several times to get a video or phone follow up appointment and was never contacted back for an appointment.
Last visit Aung really wanted me to leave a positive review for her practice. I was not happy with her services and did not feel the need to encourage others to visit her. After receiving this bill… yeah it’s important to let others know how shady this is.

In my one visit for a minor foot issue, Dr. Aung alluded to the possibility of structural surgery and missed a basic diagnosis and treatment plan that another Tucson podiatrist delivered in less than five (5) seconds (not exaggerating). Then her office had a billing service (Desert Willow Medical Billing) send me an incorrect first bill seventeen (17) months after the appointment, threatening collections. I have never written a Google review before but felt it would be unethical not to share my extremely negative experience here.
